As a Values and Ethics Assistant, you will support the development, implementation, and promotion of values and ethics initiatives across the Department of National Defence. You will work collaboratively with Values and Ethics teams to ensure that DND personnel understand and uphold the highest standards of professional conduct and organizational values. This role is essential to maintaining a workplace culture of integrity, accountability, and respect.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting with the coordination of values and ethics programs, preparing educational materials and communications, maintaining records and databases, scheduling training sessions, and responding to inquiries from DND employees. You will help organize workshops, manage administrative tasks for ethics committees, and support the investigation of values and ethics concerns. Your work will directly contribute to fostering a positive, ethical workplace culture across the Department.
You will work in a dynamic federal government environment, primarily based at a DND facility or National Defence Headquarters in Ottawa. Training

Once hired, you will receive on-the-job training specific to DND policies, procedures, and values and ethics frameworks. You may pursue certifications through professional associations such as the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's ethics training programs or similar federal learning initiatives.
