As a Supervisor - Elections, you will lead and manage a team responsible for administering federal election processes and supporting electoral operations. This role involves overseeing election staff, coordinating election logistics, ensuring compliance with the Canada Elections Act, and maintaining the integrity of electoral procedures. You will work closely with Elections Canada officials, other government departments, and the public to ensure smooth and fair election administration at federal, provincial, and municipal levels as required.
Your responsibilities will include recruiting and training election workers, managing budgets and resources, scheduling poll operations, quality assurance of electoral materials, and resolving issues that arise during election campaigns and voting days. You will ensure all team members understand their duties and adhere to strict electoral regulations and confidentiality requirements.
You will work in a dynamic, high-pressure environment that intensifies during election periods. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead diverse teams under tight deadlines. Most of your work will be office-based during non-election periods, with field-based work during active elections.
