As a Resourcing Executive Services Policy Advisor, you will provide expert policy advice and guidance on human resources resourcing strategies within the Department of National Defence (DND). You will develop, analyze, and recommend policies that support effective staffing, talent management, and organizational resourcing to meet DND's operational and strategic objectives. This role involves working with senior leadership, stakeholders across the department, and other government organizations to shape HR policy that impacts the civilian workforce.
Your daily responsibilities will include researching and analyzing HR resourcing challenges, drafting policy documents and briefing materials, and providing recommendations on recruitment, retention, and deployment strategies. You will collaborate with human resources professionals, finance teams, and program managers to ensure policies are practical, compliant with Treasury Board standards, and aligned with DND priorities. You will also monitor policy implementation, gather feedback from stakeholders, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Training
