Overview

As a Reservations and Booking Agent with the Department of National Defence, you will manage booking systems and customer reservations for DND facilities and services. You'll be the first point of contact for clients seeking to reserve accommodations, meeting spaces, recreational facilities, or other departmental resources. Your role is essential to ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction across our civilian infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities include processing reservation requests through various channels (phone, email, online systems), maintaining accurate booking records, managing cancellations and modifications, and resolving scheduling conflicts. You'll work with diverse clients including military personnel, civilian staff, families, and external organizations. You'll need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professional customer service standards. You'll work in a modern office environment, typically at a reception desk or customer service centre. This role offers regular hours with predictable schedules, though some positions may require shift work, evening, or weekend availability depending on facility operating hours and booking demand.
