Part-Time Options

Real Estate Services Technician positions are primarily offered on a full-time, indeterminate basis. However, part-time and term-based opportunities may be available depending on operational needs and funding. Flexible work arrangements, including compressed work weeks and flexible hours, may be negotiated with your manager within operational requirements. Remote work options are limited due to the nature of the role, which often requires on-site presence for facility inspections, meetings with stakeholders, and access to physical real estate files and systems. However, certain administrative and documentation tasks may be performed remotely when facility conditions or workload permit. Telework eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis in consultation with your manager and in accordance with DND policies. Part-time candidates should confirm available options during the staffing process, as opportunities vary by location and operational demand.
