However, the federal Public Service offers flexible work arrangements that may be available depending on operational needs and management approval: **Flexible Work Options**: Many DND offices support flexible scheduling, compressed work weeks, and flexible start and end times, allowing you to balance work and personal commitments while meeting program delivery needs. **Remote and Hybrid Work**: Following the pandemic, DND has embraced hybrid and remote work for eligible civilian positions. Depending on your team and the nature of your work, you may have the opportunity to work from home for part of the week, with in-person time for meetings and collaboration. **Work-Life Balance**: The Government of Canada provides strong benefits, including comprehensive health coverage, pension plans, paid leave (vacation, sick leave, family leave), and employee wellness programs to support your overall well-being.
