Overview

As a Manager of Academic Administration, you will lead and coordinate administrative functions that support the delivery of education and training programs. You will manage teams responsible for student services, program coordination, scheduling, records management, and compliance with academic standards. Your role is essential to ensuring that educational institutions within the Department of National Defence operate efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day academic operations, managing budgets and resources, developing policies and procedures, and ensuring quality assurance across academic programs. You will work closely with faculty, instructors, students, and other departments to resolve operational challenges and improve service delivery. You will also represent your institution in meetings with senior leadership and external partners. You will work in a dynamic environment that blends military and civilian cultures. Your work environment may include military training establishments, colleges, or educational centres operated by the Department of National Defence. You may be required to work on military bases or at civilian educational facilities, and you may need to travel to support multiple locations.
