As a Legistic Revisor in Legislative Services, you will provide specialized legal support to help the Department of National Defence comply with federal legislation and regulations. You will review, analyze, and revise legislative instruments, policies, and legal documents to ensure they meet legislative requirements and align with Government of Canada standards. This role is essential to supporting DND's operations and ensuring the department meets its legal obligations.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include reviewing draft legislation and regulations, analyzing their impact on departmental operations, preparing legislative briefs and summaries, and coordinating with legal counsel and other government departments on legislative matters. You will also maintain knowledge of current and proposed legislation relevant to defence and military operations, and provide advice to departmental managers on legislative compliance.
You will work in a professional office environment within DND headquarters or regional offices.
