Overview

As a Legal Registrar in Legal Advisory Services, you will provide essential administrative and procedural support to legal counsel and senior advisors within the Department of National Defence. This role is central to ensuring that all legal matters are properly documented, tracked, and managed throughout their lifecycle. You will maintain legal files, manage case documentation, coordinate scheduling, and ensure compliance with legal procedures and government policies. Your responsibilities will include preparing legal documents, maintaining registries of legal matters, scheduling appointments and hearings, drafting correspondence, and providing general office support to legal teams. You will work closely with lawyers and paralegals to ensure that all legal processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. You will work within a professional legal services environment at National Defence Headquarters or at other DND locations across Canada. Your work directly supports the delivery of legal advice and services to the Department, making you an important part of the legal services team.
