Overview

As a Learning and Development Course Designer with the Department of National Defence, you will create engaging and effective training programs that support the professional development of Canadian Armed Forces members and DND civilian employees. You will design, develop, and deliver learning solutions that meet organizational needs, ranging from technical skills training to leadership development programs. Your work will directly contribute to building a more capable and prepared defence workforce. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting learning needs assessments, designing course curricula and learning materials, developing instructional content for various formats (in-person, online, blended), and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs.
