As a Human-in-the-Loop Interaction Analyst, you will play a critical role in designing and evaluating artificial intelligence systems that require meaningful human interaction and oversight. You will bridge the gap between AI technology and practical military and defence applications by ensuring that AI systems are developed with human operators, decision-makers, and end-users at the centre of the design process. Your work will involve analyzing how people interact with AI tools, identifying opportunities to improve these interactions, and recommending design changes that enhance both effectiveness and usability.
In this role, you will conduct user research, gather feedback from military personnel and civilian staff who use AI systems, and translate that feedback into actionable insights for development teams. You will participate in prototyping sessions, usability testing, and iterative design cycles to ensure that AI solutions meet real operational needs. Your responsibilities will include documenting user requirements, creating interaction models, testing AI system responses in realistic scenarios, and collaborating with software developers, AI engineers, and subject matter experts to refine AI behaviour and outputs.
