Overview

Digital Animators - Artists create engaging visual content through animation, illustration, and digital design for Department of National Defence (DND) communications, training materials, recruitment campaigns, and public-facing media. Working within the Fine Arts job family, these professionals combine artistic talent with technical expertise to produce high-quality animated graphics, character designs, storyboards, and visual effects that support DND's strategic communications objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and animating digital content using industry-standard software, collaborating with communications teams and stakeholders to understand project requirements, developing visual concepts and storyboards, and ensuring all work meets DND branding and accessibility standards.
