As a Business Intelligence Advisor – AI Enablement, you will play a strategic role in helping the Department of National Defence leverage artificial intelligence to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. You will work at the intersection of business analysis, data science, and AI strategy, translating complex AI concepts into practical solutions that support DND's mission and modernization goals. Your responsibilities will include assessing organizational needs for AI applications, evaluating AI tools and technologies, developing business cases for AI initiatives, and advising leadership on AI implementation strategies. You will collaborate with various departments, technical teams, and external partners to identify opportunities where AI can add value, whether through automating processes, improving analytics, or enhancing situational awareness. You will also help ensure that AI solutions align with government policy, ethical standards, and security requirements. Training

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong foundation in business analysis, data analysis, or a related field. A bachelor's degree in computer science, business, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or a similar discipline is typically required or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts, machine learning fundamentals, and data analytics is essential. Familiarity with AI tools, platforms, and frameworks is an asset. You should also understand government policy frameworks, including the Directive on Artificial Intelligence and relevant Treasury Board guidance.
