Overview

Atmospheric Science Technicians support scientific research and operational activities related to weather, climate, and atmospheric phenomena. Relevant coursework should include atmospheric physics, thermodynamics, meteorology, data analysis, and instrumentation. Once hired, the Department of National Defence provides on-the-job training specific to equipment, systems, and operational procedures.
