Overview

As an Advertising Clerk in the Department of National Defence, you will play an important role in supporting the department's communications and marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for managing advertising materials, coordinating publication schedules, and ensuring compliance with government communications policies and regulations. Working within the Communications function, you will assist in the development, production, and distribution of advertising content across various media platforms to support DND's strategic messaging and public engagement objectives. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing advertising materials for review, maintaining records of publications and advertisements, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors, and ensuring all content meets Treasury Board and DND standards. You will work with digital and print media, manage timelines and budgets, and provide administrative support to marketing and communications teams. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in maintaining the accuracy and consistency of all advertising materials. You will work in a collaborative office environment, primarily at a DND location, though some duties may be performed remotely depending on current operational needs.
